Set at the gateway to Walt Disney World, Kissimmee is part Vegas strip, part old Florida, part history book, and on March 17th, part green - that’s Irish green baby!

Kiss - i - mmee, I’m Irish, it’s St. Patrick’s Day!

Known for the Theme Parks & tourist spots that consume her - Kissimmee is educated in the fine art of the holiday celebration, and what other holiday is about all about celebration, about the get-down-and-get-into-it party-til-you-drop of it - but St. Patrick’s Day of course.

March 17th, starting at 5:30 pm, the wearing of the green takes to the Silver Spurs Arena at the Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee.

This isn’t simply about wearing green - it’ll all be here - Irish dancing, Irish eating, Irish drinking. Celebration’s own Irish Pub - Shannon’s of Celebration will bring on the food - good hearty Irish fare, while green beer runs freely from the tap.

And speaking of tap…

Local, acclaimed Tir na Greine School of Dance of Central Florida will be on hand with fast stepping, Irish dancing. Tir na Greine - Irish for “Land of Sunshine” steps pretty here in the heart of the Sunshine State.

Irish Eyes will be Smiling for the tradition of Irish music. Welcomed to the event, The Clancy Legacy featuring Aoife Clancy, Robbie O’Connell and Donal Clancy, the second generation of the legendary Irish group, the Clancy Brothers.
