We’d begun following each other on Twitter awhile back, and I’d interviewed her for my Examiner column. For me, one of the reasons Amanda stood out wasn’t just her palpable love and passion for all things Walt Disney World, but how she’s taken it to such a successful level through Social Media.

In a world where many are diving online to become the next Peter Shankman, Gary Vaynerchuk, Chris Brogan or Guy Kawasaki, Amanda’s got the goods. She’s working hard every day to not only bring a quality product to her readers, but support that through her social media.
We decided a couple months ago to do a meet up - or in our ever Tweeping world - Tweet-up - and today was the day!
Headed over to Downtown Disney for the meet & greet, we chose Earl of Sandwich and found each other easily - and from the get-go, it was as if two friends had come together after a short time apart. Such is the power of Social Media.
Joined by my assistant - Assistant Laura - we had an awesome lunch (Earl post later) & spent a couple hours talking about our work.
Amanda’s a great lady - and again, can’t say enough about the stuff I learn from her about all things Disney & social media.
